Cathy Mullins has been teaching in the Owensboro area for ten plus years and presently teaches both Kindermusik and beginning piano at the Owensboro Symphony Academy. Ms. Cathy received her Bachelor of Arts from Morehead State University and a Master of Arts in Elementary Education from Western Kentucky University. Cathy has been honored by Kindermusik International earning both the Kindermusik Maestro Award and Meastro in Outreach Award in recognition of contributions to the local community. Cathy is a pianist and vocalist for the Good Shepherd Church Music Ministry and is a member of the Owensboro Symphony Chorus. In addition, Ms. Cathy is an adjunct faculty member at both Western Kentucky University and Owensboro Community and Technical College. Cathy and her husband, Tom, have three children. Both sons, Shaun and Brandon, presently serve in the US Army and daughter, Bethany, is a freshman in college.
Rachel Cosby is our newest Piano Instructor for the Owensboro Symphony Academy. She is a graduate of Central Bible College in St. Louis, MO with a degree in music. Rachel and her husband Josh, Youth Pastor at Good Shepherd Church, recently welcomed Zoey Noelle to their family. In addition to teaching piano, Rachel is a praise team vocalist/pianist, and youth drama team coordinator for Good Shepherd. Rachel is currently accepting new students.
