Kindermusik with Cathy

All of our classes are held at the Owensboro Symphony Academy located at 211 East 2nd Street.    

Each class meets once a week for 45 minutes with the exception of Young Child which is 60 minutes.   

The 12 week spring semester begins during the last weeks in January.  The 12 week fall semester begins the first week in September.  There are two sessions for our 5 week summer camps that are held June and July.  In the fall there are also two 5 week Saturday morning classes

You can always join a class that is not full once a semester begins.  I encourage all families to try one class at no cost to experience first hand how great the Kindermusik experience is for their child(ren). 

Both Village and Our Time may have up to 12 students with one or even two parents attending class with their child weekly.

Imagine That and Young Child classes may have up to 10 students with parents joining for the last 15 minutes.

Family Time classes can have up to 5 families.  To achieve a desired comfort level, no more than 10 children are typically in a Family Time class.

Definitely!  Bring your digital and video camera to capture these wonderful moments in your child's life.  We also take a group photo that you can place in your scrapbook.

Owensboro is a great place for raising children due to the low cost of living.  Because of this, we can provide Kindermusik classes at a lower rate than in most larger markets around the country.

Our 12 week semester typically runs $175 to $195.  Our 5 week summer camps range from $75 to $95.   

Certainly.  I encourage you to share your Kindermusik experience with close friends and family members.   

We follow the Daviess County Public Schools regarding inclement weather.  If schools are closed, we are closed for the entire day, even night classes.  If schools are delayed, we will conduct classes as scheduled.   Additional days will be added to the end of the semester to make up for these days.

Again we follow the Daviess County Public Schools and do not conduct classes during spring and fall breaks.  This allows families with older siblings to be together for family vacations, etc.

Most days you can park right on 2nd Street in front of the Symphony Academy.   Be careful to take only one parking space and note the time so that you do not go over the 2 hour limit.  Parking alongside the Blue Bridge is always free for unlimited time. 

Yes!  Beginning Fall 2008, our tuition will be based per family as opposed to per student.  Please note that a complete set of home materials is required for each class.  Please see our Tuition Policy for compelte details.
